Chad Ackerman

NOTES: Chad Ackerman began the 2000/2001 season with the Richmond Renegades and was recalled briefly by the AHL's Kentucky Thoroughblades. After being waived by the Renegades on 1/15/01, he was claimed by several teams before being declared a free agent by the ECHL on 3/8/01. Ackerman signed with the Trenton Titans on 3/26/01 (he wore number 2). He announced his retirement from hockey on 8/1/01. Ackerman represented the Hampton Roads Admirals in the 2000 ECHL All-Star Game. He was a member of the 1997/1998 Kelly Cup Champion Hampton Roads Admirals. Ackerman came out of retirement on 1/29/02, re-signing with the Titans. He was waived on 2/7/02 to resume retirement after appearing in one game.
