He signed with the AHL's Syracuse Crunch on 8/19/03, but was assigned to the ECHL's Dayton Bombers on 10/13/03 for the start of the season. Connolly was recalled by the Crunch from 10/26/03 to 11/18/03, and again from 12/4/03 to 12/9/03.
