"Huge Hockey Fan": I usually allow opinions and even arguments to go uninterrupted in this forum as long as they stay somewhat civil and don't go around in circles for too long. However, I do not appreciate anyone personally attacking another Titan fan, r telling them not to post in my forum (with the exception of those of you that tried to defend the forum against the Peoria trash talker last season). Unless you are Jed, Vince, or Kam, you have no way of knowing whether or not they called Chrystal, and what does it matter to you? Based on my brief conversations with Jed and Vince, I believe they would strongly disagree with your comments. I doubt Kam is any different. They value their fans and actually do talk to many of them outside of the arena. Try reading "Putting the Game into Perspective" before making comments like that, and leave me to manage this forum. Krista, I think the new jersey are awesome! They seem to be popular. I know when I went to get mine at the game, I got the last one at my stand in 112. The only thing I really don't like about them is the Capitol dome on the replica version. The Capitol dome on t e authentic version looks better but is also alot more money!

First off i'd like to thank Eric Brule for his time he has spent here in Trenton. It's such a shame that such a great player like Eric had to be taken away from the team he really DID want to be a part of. Business is business, yes i know, but Eric's ab lity on the ice showed great enthusiasim game in and game out. He helped us make it to the Kelly Cup Conference Finals in our inagural season..what more could we as fans ask for? Eric's personality both on the ice as well as off showed him to be one of he friendliest guys on this young team. He will be greatly missed and, certainly, never forgotten. Fanatic, It appears that WBUD doesn't do internet broadcasts (and may not even have a web site at all). The Titans are broadcasting about 50 of their games on the internet through www.wbcb1490.com (although many will be tape delayed). A listing of which games is available at www.trentontitans.com. As for the other games, I have caught a few (but not all) by going to www.oursportscentral.com under "Netcasts". The links are for frequent broadcasters and aren't necessarily accurate for every game, but often are The 3rd option is to check out the opponent's official web site (links available under "ECHL" on this site's menu), although many of their sites aren't very helpful either. I feel your pain - I'm trying to listen to the games from Texas. In the future .. If I'm listening to a game via internet, I'll post a link to the site where I found it under the headline on my homepage while the game is in progress. Good luck!

Apparently, Chris Feil is no longer playing. He started out in training camp with the Chicago Blackhawks, but while undergoing his physical, trainers noticed a serious medical condition which is preventing Chris from playing. It is unknown if Chris will e er return to hockey or not, but lets keep him in our prayers that he will get better and be back on the ice soon.

What a wonderful weekend the Trenton Titans Fans had!!! The game on Saturday was even more exciting than Fridays'. But, let us not forget that this weekend Troy and Brian will be making some decisions (cuts) that will affect the lives of all of the you g men who have worked so hard over the past week, skating their hearts out. The Roster must go to the ECHL by Tuesday and some of these young men will be heading home without a contract, and without a dream fulfilled. I spoke to a few of them last eveni g about this, and it really hit home. So as much al I can't wait to see our Titans open Friday, in Toledo, I'll have a kind thought and Great Wishes of Luck for the boys who don't make the trip!!! Good Luck to ALL of You!!!

Some of you may have noticed the new "Andrew's Journey" link on my homepage and wondered what it is all about. Andy Tupper is my 14-year old nephew who was diagnosed with Philadelphia Chromosome Positive Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) in March of 199 . After intense treatment, he went into remission which lasted until earlier this year when he suffered a relapse. In early July, Andy underwent a Peripheral Blood Stem Cell Transplant (a type of bone marrow transplant) and is now battling the inevitabl GVHD (Graft vs. Host Disease). "Andrew's Journey" is an online journal that will follow his battle against leukemia. Please join me in praying for a speedy recovery. Thank you!

This is a great page for an ECHL team. I am writiting to inform you people how lucky you are to have Jed. I did not miss one of his Junior games when he played for the Aylmer Aces. He was such a good player. He had 65 goals and 75 assists his last season n 50 games. He was a treat to watch. More importantly I was invloved with the booster club there and Jed was always willing to do whatever we asked him and that is why he was voted fan favourite here in Aylmer. He doubled every one elses votes on the tea . He worked camps for free for younger kids and put in a lot of time with the community. I can see that he has not changed any judging from some of the comments that I have read on this site. He is a class act that is for sure. I had to write in and say t at we miss you in Aylmer Jed and please come back to visit. Good luck..

Sahnia, I have had the pleasure of meeting Jed and can say that he is definitely as nice as everyone says. I think he became a fan favorite by being so hard-working and persistent when Coach Cassidy originally said he probably wouldn't even make the tea . He went on to become one of the team's top scorers (and very consistent throughout the season). Jed is very personable and dedicated to the fans. As to whether he's cute, I'll let someone else comment on that.

I don't think the players indicated that they would not be happy playing for anyone except Havey. They said he would make a good coach. But let's face it. McKenna is a businessman and he couldn't take such a bold chance with Havey. Unless Havey took the t am at least as far as Cassidy, McKenna would have gotten heat about the decision. Ward is a known commodity and he will attract and retain talented players.

I just got up and read that article in the Trentonian about Mike Haviland. I hope he gets his wish and becomes the head coach. I think Jed's feelings speak for everyone. That Jed is one classy guy and he shows it every chance he gets. That letter he wrote to the fans last year speaks volumes about him as a person. The interview on this page was fantastic as well. We are lucky to have him. Does any person know how old Jed is? The report on the web page show that he is 23 or 24...I thought he was older than hat.. What a great site this is. I wish I would have discovered it earlier....It is nice seeing everyones comments on this page...... I was pleased to see that Jed resigned. My husband would of lost his mind if he didn't get to see him play again. The interview he gave on this page was great. It is nice to learn more about him as a person. He seems to be well liked and everyone that I h ve spoken with says that he is one special individual...I am looking forward to seeing everybody in the fall at the games...Best of luck to the rest of the team and I hope that the coach stays..

I just read in the paper that the Flyers and Blues are looking to maybe sign Bu. I hope the Flyers offer him the better deal. He would be such a great addition to their team and he's SO loved in the area. If you read this Bu, we miss you and we're hoping o see you at a Phantoms/Flyers game really soon. :)

Hope this clears up some of the confusion:

Officially, only 4 players have signed Titans contracts for the 2000/2001 (Hall, Whitchurch, Risk, and Williams). Many other Titans signed "qualifying offers" with Trenton which is NOT the same as signing a contract, but it prevents them from playing for any other ECHL team without the Titans approval. This does not prevent them from signing contracts in any other league. Of the players listed in "Titanic" as doubtful to return, it is always possible that they may choose Trenton over other offers in the AHL/IHL, however, based on their playing abilitity and official press releases/comments, it's not likely (one or could surprise us, but as of now, the indications are that it is doubtful). Players such as Mader and Bujar are under contract with affiliates and it is up to them where the player gets placed, not the Titans. Based on Bujar and Mader's performance, it is expected that they will be placed in the AHL - but again, nothing is 100 percent certain.

Ideally, we would love to see every Titan return, but in a development league (and with 2 solid NHL/AHL affiliations) this will never happen.

Just read what someone wrote about some of the guys. What is going on? A few people have told me that cail had already re-signed with the titans and now we read this. I wish someone would get there stories straight. And for mike mader, heard that he was going to come back this season. And what is going on with that? We figured that murphy wouldn't be back. Think they should get Brown and Hoogsteen back and send Boo to johnstown. Really hope Taras re-signs, that would great. Well, that is all I have to say for now. Thanks

A bunch of us were reading what Jed said about the trenton area and we are glad to g=hear that he really enjoyed being and glad to see him back. Then we went a little further and saw what was said about Cail, Scott,Mark and the rest of the team. That is a shame if that is true that we aren't going to get any of them back. It would have been nice to Cail, Mike and the rest of them back but i guess hat is how it works when you are in a lower level bur we won't hold our breath on what has been said until it really is official thanks

Hey Titans Fans: I'am very happy to hear that Jed is coming back and that it is official. So, where does everyone think Murphy should go? I would like to see him with the Penguins. I was also wondering if anyone new anything about Jerry Keefe or Scott Bertoli? I haven't heard anything about Jerry. I read in today's paper that Scott is negotiating a contract with the Panhters. Noah-I agree-sorry that I started sumpthin it was just that Jed and Dave are equal players like you said-Jed has been here longer and more people are used to him and like him more-But since Dave has gotten here-It seemed to me that the team spirit was rai ed b/c of Dave's confidence in each of those players-Hoogy I guess was not comfortable with all the fans here-but once he got comfortable-he talked all the time-He talked to me after every away game we went to and every home game we stayed after-it was th fact the Richmond fans didn't like him b/c he didn't do much there and was so small-If I was McKenna,I would have payed cash to Johnstwon instead of Dave-he's a player that our team needs along w/ Jed!! Hoogy is faster then Jed and handles the puck well and that's what our team needs-we need more than one Jed and Hoogy and Jed are almost the same player! The fact is w/ Dave and Jed on the same line you got one of the best lines in the ECHL and I don't see how that should have and would have been broken u . Jessie

Great views Jessie. The last thing I wanted to do was to get in a battle about who was better Dave or Jed. They are two different styles of players. Jed is far more creative with the puck and he sees the ice better and therefore is a far better playmaker. Dave is simply s ahooter. A shoots a lot more then Jed and that is why I think they played well together. The both complimented eachothers game well and that is why they played together I am sure. The Titans protected Jed because they felt that he was the one they wanted. Rightfully so to I think. Jed brings so much to the game every night and he is great with the fans as well. Do not get me wrong. I love watching Dave like everyone else did. I wish him nothing but the best. If big time NHL stars like Ray ourque can get traded then no person is safe in all of pro hockey. I realize the Dave was your favorite Jess ans for that I am sorry about the move. I do feel that having Jed, Mike, Vince, and Dave back already is a great start already. Thanks for your im ut Jess.

I don't think that ANYONE can replace Hoogs or Ryan - they were both MAJOR parts of the team - and many people overlooked hoogy by stating that he was the same player as Jed - he isn't - many people have failed to realize that the Hoogsteen-Mader-Whitchur h contected MANY times this year and they provided ALOT of the chances during the playoffs. - No player can ever be the same as another - Granted Hoogs and Jed had the same style they were NOT the same player and both Hoogs and Ryan will be greatly missed - As I already mentioned when ANY of the ooriginal titans return to SBA I will be there to cheer them on - And that includes if the score agaist us - they are and will always be titans and they will be greatly issed - my countdown has dwindle
