Fans In The Making
Hi! My name is Jordan and I am 10 years old. I have to say that
I was really impressed with all of the guys and their skills, so I
wanted to share with everybody what my first Titan game was like.
Okay, it was a chilly October night and my Parents and I were
getting ready to go to my first game. To tell you the truth I was
pretty nervous, I even had butterflies in my stomach. But I really
felt better when we got into the arena because right when we got in
there my favorite player, Vince Williams skated by a gave me a very
friendly smile, I am really shy so I really didn’t know what to do
back to him. But that was only the first game, and already I knew
the names of all of the guys.
Now this was my favorite game, I was at the bottom of section
107 taking pictures, as usual and this nice lady came up to me and
said: "Would you like to be the Captain of the Night and stand in
the middle of the ice with a Titan during the National Anthem?"
Well at first I thought she said, "Do you want to sing the National
Anthem?!?!" So my dad answered for me, "Sure she does!" he said,
so the woman took me up to the top of section 107 and gave me a
pennant and a puck and asked me a few questions, then we went down
an elevator to the 'Backstage' section, it was freezing! But it
was really awesome because I got to here Toledo Storm’s game plans
because they walked right by me and all they said was "Ready Eh..?"
Then it was time for me to go on the ice so P.J. Martin skated by
the Exit/Entrance to the ice and grabbed my hand, and we
skated/scooted to center ice on the way he said "Slippery Eh..?"
Then I said "Yeah!" as I almost slipped, and then they took my
picture for the paper and then my dad and I headed back to our
section when we both heard" "Tonight’s Captain of the Night was
Jordan Racz!"
Being the Captain of the Night was a great experience!
And now all of my friends come to the Titans games too, so
LOOK OUT BULLIES TITANS ARE GONNA BEAT YA WHEN IT COMES TO
FANS!!!!!!!!!
