NOTES: Butch Kaebel was signed by the Trenton Titans on 12/8/00. He had been released by the Wheeling Nailers on 12/6/00 after serving as their team Captain. On 7/6/01, the Columbia Inferno selected Kaebel from the Titans in the 6th round of the ECHL Expansion Draft. Kaebel opted to sign with the CHL's Tulsa Oilers with brothers Klage and Karson for the start of the 2001/2002 season. He was waived on 1/10/02. Prior to his professional career, Butch was a key member of the University of Wisconsin - River Fall's 1988 NCAA Men's Ice Hockey National Championship. Kaebel retired as a player after the 2001/2002 season. On 12/20/03, he became the interim Head Coach of the CHL's Tulsa Oilers. It was announced on 1/15/04, it was announced that Kaebel would remain Head Coach of the Oilers for the remainder of the 2003/2004 season.
