Shepherds Hill

Shepherds Hill is a quiet little subdivision on the eastern side of the City of Frisco, bordered by Coit Road to the east, Canoe Road to the north, and Shepherds Hill Lane to the south. The first settlers came to Shepherds Hill in January 2001 and the population now exceeds 400 as buildout approaches. Ideal for families, the subdivision is adjacent to (Bessie Ely) Gunstream Elementary School and (Cal P. and Walt) Wester Middle School, both of which opened in Fall 2002. Just south of Wester Middle School is Frisco's 2nd high school, Centennial High School, which opened in Fall 2003. Shepherds Hill is just a few minutes away from Collin County Community College's Preston Ridge Campus, Stonebriar Centre (the region's largest mall), and Frisco's new sports/entertainment complex, featuring the Dr. Pepper / Seven-Up Ballpark (home of the Texas Rangers' AA affiliate Frisco RoughRiders) and a Dr. Pepper StarCenter (the training/headquarters for the NHL's Dallas Stars and home ice for the NAHL's Texas Tornado). Even closer will be the new home of the MLS' FC Dallas (formerly Dallas Burn), scheduled to in Summer 2005!

Shepherds Hill's Homeowners Association is now in the hands of the residents! A Board of Directors comprised of residents was elected at our Annual Membership Meeting on February 3, 2005. At the first Board Meeting, the following appointments were unanimously approved: Mike Czarnecki (President), Chris Potter (Vice President), Brandi Luce (Treasurer), Jim Tupper (Secretary), and Niki Moskau (Assistant Secretary). The HOA continues to retain Cornerstone Association Management Services of Dallas with Kimberley Jackson as our representative. An online email group has been set up for Shepherds Hill residents to interact and share information.
