After attending the Lock Monsters' 2001/2002 training camp, Spadafora was assigned to the Florida Everblades. On 8/28/02, he signed with the ECHL's Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies for the 2002/2003 season. Spadafora signed with the U.K.'s Fife Flyers for the 2003/2004 season.
