Frisco City Council Election


While I will also attempt to add additional information similar to that which you see below for Housing issues, I have submitted a list of specific questions to each of the 2003 Frisco City Council candidates.


FA QUESTIONS THE CANDIDATES

  • Erich Colberg: "Most candidates say they support some form of affordable housing. However, Mr. Colberg, 33, said he does not because he doesn't believe the government should get involved. He said the city's recently adopted down payment homebuying assistance program could be abused." --- "Mr. Colberg opposes the plan.   • Tony Felker: "Mr. Felker, 40, who voted for the proposal (Alternative Subdivision Design) as a planning and zoning commissioner, said the plan could be modified to address residents' concerns." (Dallas Morning News, 4/13/2003)
  • Joy West: "Ms. West, 41, said she wants to eliminate the plan for townhomes and duplexes in such subdivisions (Alternative Subdivision Design). She also wants to take SF-4 land out of the proposal." (Dallas Morning News, 4/13/2003)
